Oral history interview with Persis Hopkins Forster, 2000 [audiorecording].

Persis Forster discusses her childhood, early life, parents, and family. She talks about her time at North Texas Agricultural College and the University of Texas at Austin. Other topics discussed include her children, her work in the Arlington community in such areas as her service with the Arlington Convention and Tourism Bureau, the early Miss Arlington Pageants, Casa Manana, Theater Arlington, and the Gown Town Theater. She also shares her memories of her teaching and her involvement with the University of Texas at Arlington and her service with the UTA Alumni Association as its first woman president.
